Jurnal Al-Hikmah: Jurnal Dakwah is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published by the Faculty of Ushuluddin, Adab, and Dakwah at Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Pontianak, Indonesia (P-ISSN 1978-5011; E-ISSN 2502-8375). Al-Hikmah is committed to disseminating high-quality, open-access scholarship at the intersection of Islamic da'wah (proselytization) studies and Islamic communication, published biannually each July and December.
Al-Hikmah provides an academic platform for interdisciplinary scholarship examining Islamic da'wah, religious communication, and Islamic thought within contemporary social contexts. The journal brings together perspectives from communication studies, guidance and counseling, sociology of religion, and related fields, encouraging integrated approaches to understanding the practice and theory of da'wah across diverse cultural and social settings.
Al-Hikmah welcomes original empirical research, conceptual papers, and literature-based studies from academicians, researchers, and graduate students with an interest in da'wah and Islamic communication. Contributions are expected to demonstrate scholarly originality and offer meaningful theoretical or practical insight into contemporary challenges facing Islamic da'wah, enriching academic discourse through both local and cross-cultural perspectives.
